Arizona Historical Society
The Arizona Historical Society focuses on state history from Spanish times to the present. The museum has an ‘Arizona Mining' hall that features a complete walk in mine shaft and other fascinating exhibits that bring the life to the history of Tucson and southern Arizona. This is also a great library that we have used in researching historical properties that we have done historical renovations on.
Also on site is a gift shop.
The museum is located at 949 E 2 nd Street – near the entrance to the University of Arizona.
Hours:
Monday – Saturday 10am to 4pm
Sunday – Noon to 4pm
